Overall Comments	Not bad overall a good solid wing.  The Bleu Cheese was way too watery.  They get extra points for supplying wet-naps.  If the wing is sitting in a puddle of the sauce while on the plate the flavor actually improves.  Which makes sense but the wings themselves don’t hold the sauce that well.  Not terrible.	Bonus points for wet-naps, if you want the extra sauce it’s there.  A good wing if you are in the mood for wings while at Sunset

Grill Boy & Special Guest Companion Fitness Glutton headed over to Game On for the 2nd Annual “King of the Wing: The Ultimate Wing Throw Down” on Nov 1st, and it was nothing short of amazing!!It should be noted that our pair of ‘Wing Aficionados’ were perhaps a bit too anxious having arrived at the venue about thirty minutes early and were the first two people to walk in once it finally did get started, but it was totally worth it.  They were able to pony themselves up to a great spot at the bar and sampled two types of wings from nine different Boston restaurants.  The rules of the competition were simple each restaurant had to present a Buffalo Wing and a Creative Wing.  The winner would be decided by a panel of celebrity judges and the crowd of wing lovers who showed up.However, Grill Boy is fairly certain that he and Fitness Glutton were the only ones who showed up with a scoring sheet.As regular readers will note the ranking system for this adventure were modified in expectation that it would be served in chafing dishes and single wing servings which it was.  Also, Blue Cheese was taken off the usual list because it was assumed that there would just be one house dressing, an assumption that our duo were pleasantly incorrect about.Wing Place:                                       Wing Flavor:

This critique aside the wing was a decent 2nd place and much better than the daily wing, but not as much sauce but really nice seasoning on the wing.  Gave a nice finish.  The blue cheese was very obviously a sour cream based dressing and the sourness hit too hard.There was a lot of temp. heat and that took away from me tasting the nice sauce and spice of the food.  I would try again when it wasnt so hot.“Looks burnt, smells burnt, tastes burnt, you can be on NESN Jerry but damn you make a terrible wing” ~Grill BoyIt was strange that the Buffalo wing was a different size than the creative wing, why would they have two different sizes? Comments	Again this was a grilled wing which had really nice flavor could have used a little more sauce to go with it on top but overall pretty solid.	Really great wing, loved the spice but WOW did it have an after burn! No surprise that they came from the place that is known through out the country for Hell Night !! Loved the wing though.  The staff also was just enjoying the whole event and have a great time which was super.	These were delicious, they looked amazing and tasted even better.  If they were served with a plate of noodles it would be an instant hit and a nice Asian/pub infusion type deal.	WOW! Sweet, Tangy nice spice and MAN was it crunchy, Grill Boy loves a nice crunchy wing and the sugars in this sauce caramelized and made this an amazing wing.  Also the managers and chef that were there were super nice and really into the fun of the whole night which is great.	With a name like that you are expecting to taste at least something… NOPE they all cancelled each other out.  There was a slight fruit taste but mostly it was a bland taste and it was a major let down.	Tasted like ketchup so it sort of connected with the play on words and creative but I really wanted a beef taste as I ate and that is not something I look for in a chicken wing.	Again the wing was pre-pulled and placed back on the wing which visually was stunning, the crispiness of the wing was excellent but you had to have the extra dipping sauce to make the wing, alone there wasn’t much taste but with the sauce there was a nice savory yet sweet taste	This just tasted like rubbery chicken skin, it was terrible.

Overall Comments	The mild wings were surprisingly spicy, especially if you happen to get a pocket/pool of sauce all at once.  Overall it was a solid wing but the blue cheese that came with it was a bit bland and did not cut the sauce enough if you were looking for such things.  It is close, so Grill Boy will eat them again.

Overall Comments	The menu listed the wings as Buffalo but low and behold THERE WAS NO SAUCE AT ALL!! It was deep fried chicken wings and drumsticks.  A huge disapointment.  Easily the worst wings yet.	I had to ask for actual blue cheese as they served it with Ken’s BBQ sauce.  When the homemade blue cheese was given to us it was really quite amazing, but the damage was already done.

Overall Comments	Buff’s is a small cash only establishment hidden just off the Mass Pike.  The buzz around Boston is that it is the best hidden gem for wings and as of now Grill Boy has not found anything better.	Every time I smell, I want, tangy good side orders great celeary and they are yummy.

Overall Comments	So this was an adventure by itself.  Baker Girl & Grillboy went to play pub trivia (which is a good time here) and GrillBoy was rather hungry and always interested in wings he asked the bar tender what the South Carolina Wings were all about, as he was skeptical that they were what he actually wanted.  Then the owner of the place jumped into the conversation out of nowhere AND NOT BEING INVITED.  The owner said “Do you watch the Phantom Gourmet, well Dave Andleman loves them so you should probably order them.”  Now Grillboy does watch the Phantom Gourmet  and usually likes what he sees but having the owner be so blunt and jerkish sort of pissed him off, but he decided to go with the recommendation just the same.  These wings are not what we think of when we think of wings as it was a plate of 6 whole wings in only a southern tangy mustard sauce.  Overall they were tasty but it is basically a grilled chicken wing with mustard….and the owner was a jerk.  The place is pretty cool but honestly the owner….wow he should just not show up, he is the worst part of the place.

Overall Comments	If you are around the Boston Garden and really want some wings these are a fairly good value.  Grill Boy will point out that the service wasn’t that great and Baker Girl needed to handle all of the paying of the bills because Grill Boy stormed out when the waitress wasn’t able to tell the table what they owed because the computers went down and the staff had an attitude that it wasn’t there fault.  Now Grill Boy is a reasonable man but it certainly wasn’t his fault the computers died so how is it his responsibility when he is being served to know the prices and taxes for everything?

Overall Comments	So in fairness to what was actually served it was not a buffalo wing and it is a REALLY good pizza joint and the wings were an ok appetizers and really it was just compulsion at this point to rate the wings there.  They were ok and the price wasn’t terrible.  They should get BIG time extra points for serving wet naps with the wings.	They look great but not so much a great taste sort of had a banana taste.  The blue cheese was fresh and home made, or at least it seemed so.  The burger slider was much better and you could order just one which was great.

Overall Comments	There is a reason that no one serves wings as the WHOLE wing it is Damn hard to eat.  You have to break the parts up in your hands while they are hot and spice so you have spice and temperature actually working against you on this one.  The Coolidge Corner Clubhouse has one of THE LARGEST MENUS in Boston, which can be VERY overwhelming.  But if you go you MUST MUST MUST get the soft pretzels with their honey mustard, that is really where it is at.  Skip the wings.  While they Look amazing it really just just a pain in the ass.
